I know nothing about the Kodak Boycott. Besides buying Super-8 film, I buy Kodak paper whenever I can for my printers and print paper.

This is a response to a post from another board...
the idea of boycoting Kodak is such a bad idea, to me that I thought I should enlarge this discussion to all the major Super 8 boards.
    Thanks for readying!

As corporations go Kodak is one of the better ones. Manufacturing most if not all of their products in the United States..and being the biggest employer of blind people in the US.

The problem with this new Global Economy is it's pitting It's pitting American and European works against those people living in the Third World living on peanuts. We are not improving their living standards and many have to work 7 days a week 12 hours a day. With now personal life, or way to brake out of the slave state they are in.

If you want to boycott something what about an American boycott for shopping for anything on the day after Thanksgiving. Our biggest US shopping day of the year. And it's legal! I know this would get the attention of the world.

Hear in the US we need elected officials to represent the people of this country and not the Greedy Corporations.

Consider this one more point before the American civil war, corporations had a local charters that could be revoked. Corporations had to do good for there communities. That means providing jobs and livable wages. What we need is more corporate accountability to Government and the people.
